Third Workshop of the Doctoral College "Port Hamiltonian Systems : modelling, numerics and control"

will take place from 28-30 March 2023 in Wuppertal

The doctoral college (2022-2025), funded by the Franco-German University, is aimed at PhD students from Germany, France and the Netherlands working on the development and application of structured, energy-based methods for modeling, numerical approximation and control of multiphysical systems. It builds on the long-standing collaboration between research groups in the participating countries, provides an institutional framework for structured doctoral training, and promotes the mobility of young researchers by providing financial support for research stays in the partner countries.

Additional Information

• PhD students are invited to give a short talk (15-25 minutes) on their research. Priorities given to students who have not presented in Besançon. 
• We will offer interactive sessions on the blackboard (as we did on Frauenchiemsee last year). To prepare them, we need your input. Please let us know your topics of interest/concrete questions via the online tool (see the e-mail for information and the access link).
• We will spend Monday evening at the Luisenviertel (bar district). Everyone interested can join after their arrival - just write an email for the exact location. 
• The talks and presentations take place in room G.15.20 at campus Grifflenberg (Gaussstraße 20, 42119 Wuppertal).
• For your talks you can use either blackboards, a beamer or both.
